The cities
Longview
A planned city from the 1920s with the parks and boulevards to prove it. The county's biggest housing stock, a working port, and first-home prices that still start with a 3.
Kelso
Longview's twin across the Cowlitz River, with its own Amtrak station and hillside neighborhoods. Practical, affordable, and forty-five minutes from Portland's north side.
Kalama
A river town on the Columbia with a marina, antique row, and new hillside construction. Small, scenic, and increasingly discovered by Portland commuters.
Woodland
The south end of the county, straddling the Lewis River. Tulip farms, new subdivisions, and about thirty minutes to Portland: the true commuter edge of our coverage.
